Weekly Planning

Another change I want to make is to do a weekly overview, where I figure out what I want accomplished for that time period. Then the specific lessons can have more repetition and unity, and hopefully take less time to plan.

So each week should have a primary "core" goal like knowing the 5 kingdoms, or the 1st declension paradigm, etc.  

When I put in a Quizlet there should be a pattern like:

1. PRactice
2. Practice
3. Sample Test
4. Test Offline.
5. Retake or break

For a map puzzle or quiz, etc:

1. Puzzle
2. Puzzle
3. Practice quiz
4. Quiz Offline
5. Retake or break

Books and Reading

I think we will do our lessons in a slightly different way than what we have been doing up till now.   Kieron doesn't really notice the book assignments in the lessons.   So I think I will print him out a sheet of readings.  He can mark them as he finishes.   He can choose whether to discuss them right after reading or to wait until later.     I am going to try to write study notes for the books he is reading so we can talk about them a bit.   He might need some guidance learning how to read for a seminar type format. 

He can read separately from the lessons, or alongside.  

I also think we really need a Morning Time.  Plan out the readings or just make do until it evolves.
